Nothing I've done as an adult (with the exception of working in a factory on the line) would have been possible without a degree. Even in the factory I was sent to management fairly soon after I graduated (worked there during college).
I don't regret my education. I enjoy learning and will continue to learn until I'm too old to do so.

I voted on my own poll. So far, I regret it. I have 3 degrees (criminal justice in 2006; accounting and finance in 2009) and none of my education has born any fruit. In the past 5 years, I was unemployed a combined 26 months and I'm in considerable debt. Now I have $28,000 a year job working for my alma mater .

No offense but your job situation has anything to do with having a degree. Your degree didn't cause you to be unemployed. The two aren't related.
It sounds like you are under the false impression that a degree automatically entitles you to a high paying job. It doesn't work that way. You have to make yourself into a great candidate. The right skills and experience will get you noticed.
I think you can get a higher paid job but you have to put together a career plan.
