Two of my good friends got their masters in communication (minor in journalism). After a few months of heavy searching (and the realization that they may never find a job in their field), they both got an offer. One moved to Ky and the other ND, but they did get in their field. And they were paid to move. Don't let doom and gloom stop you. It's what the news sells to keep an audience, and it's what people love spreading.
