More and more colleges are offering specific programs targeted towards the working adult -- whether they never started college or never completed their degree. There are a couple in our area where the courses are taught in the evenings and each course is no longer than 8 weeks (or something like that). Many of these students also make use of computer-based testing (CBT) which allows them to test out of courses. A popular CBT program is CLEP, one of College Board's programs. If your school has a CLEP policy, verify with your academic advisor and/or registrar which tests might be equivalent to their courses.
