Are there problems with discipline in the College classrooms, especially in Community Colleges or schools of higher education that let pretty much anyone in? Really many college students are no more mature than many High School students.

Tell us what is happening in college classrooms today. Is it just like High School where teachers have a hard time getting the kids to behave?

I have never had a discipline problem, and I work in community college.

I've been attending CC's forever and never noticed discipline problems in class. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't put up with it. Even if they let "everyone" in they don't have to keep them around, unlike public K-12.

They just ask them to leave the class. There's no coddling in college.

The closest thing to a discipline problem I've seen was a class many people didn't show up too. Otherwise nothing

In lower ranked, below Tier 1, PUBLIC Universities and in many CCs... yes there are people who will talk when the professor is talking, leave early(rudely), and you can tell just not give a damn...

But this is more so a reflection of the "type of people" you will meet in environments like that. Frankly, most of the people that go to those places do NOT value education... And then there are those who DO and are there for economical reasons (absolutely nothing wrong with that) and you can tell a difference. It will be very apparent.

A good thing you COULD do***

1. Go to a "LOW RANKED" Public State University in your State
2. Go to a "HIGH RANKED" Public State University in your State
3. Go to a "HIGH RANKED" Private University in your State

Do it and you WILL notice a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE. Night and Day honestly

I'm curious what discipline problems the OP sees in high school, especially in high school classes full of college bound kids to make a fair comparison. I'd say the problems are the same, none.

Yes, but probably not as common as high school. I work at a college, and was asked to create a database application to track people with serious behavioral issues. This happened after the string of shootings that seemed to permeate the news a few years ago. The college started a group of professors, police, counselors, etc, to monitor people with big problems. And there are a handful of people with serious issues. That is probably true of any large population. So far the problems have been mostly students making threatening statements in class. And this is not common.
