So I like kids and I want to be an elementry school teacher. I know ill have to go to college but for how long? Where should I start? Currently I have no college classes. I graduated from high school a few years back.

Just looking for advice and suggestions

You can start at a community college for a few semesters and then transfer to a four year university. You need a bachelors degree at the very least, which takes four years.you will have some type of student teaching program to go through. Some schools require a masters degree, which adds a few years.

At least four years.

And consider that you might need to move out of state to get a job.
