College Algebra what type of calculator do I need? (tests, class, course)

I have a graphing calculator from 2005. Think it still works have to check it out used it for a class 4 year's ago.

Do you think this would suffice should I update? Not sure if much would change on graphing calculators.

Your old graphing calculator will be just fine.

If it is a TI series, you can probably update the software. They have USB cables on them so you can log on to their website and get the newest version.

You probably won't even need a calculator as you will have some sort of software package on a computer to use for projects and such.

I used the calculator on my cell phone.

You shouldn't even use a calculator unless you have to graph parabolas I suppose.

Other than that, you should be doing it by hand to prepare you for tests you have to take in the future outside of your class.

If not, an old graphic calculator is all I needed in college. TI-85!

The course description will probably say what kind of calculator, if any, you need.
