Getting out of the manufacturing industry I've been in for 20 years. Not much left of it here in the US.
Working on AS in Biology. After that BS in Biology, Plant Biology, or Genetics. Haven't decided yet.

A BS is generally always better for landing a job.
Anthropology major/History minor: focus on cultural resource management archaeology. My job field is competitive, but there are jobs to be had.
Who is called in to pre-survey road/building/home construction? Oil and gas leasing? Mining? Archaeologists.
There are employment opportunities in private enterprise, as well as the BLM, Forest Service, and Parks Service. It isn't necessary to become a tenured professor or dig specific archaeological sites to specialize in archaeology.
Chemistry and a minor in forensic science. Want to achieve an MA in Chemistry and Nanoscience.
