Getting into law school is pretty much just about your grades and LSAT score.

Did you read the thread about law school in this forum? Should still be on the first page...

Keep in mind, that 3.0 might drop quite a bit after LSAC calculates your GPA.

And a 3.0 won't be much use for any school in the top 50.

What IS criminal justice anyway? I've always wondered about it as a field.

Irrelevant. More than any other avenue in graduate study, law school is almost completely(and I mean 99.9999999%) about two things: GPA, LSAT. The rest is, basically, superfluous. Particularly your major.
