Its miller moth season again! Just noticed them a few days ago up on the Palmer Divide. Blech!

I haven't noticed them much yet, but I suspect these are the kinds of moths I've been vacuuming out of my windows.

They are late in coming this year, and are predicted to be above average in numbers. Oh wonderful.

Have seen a few so far (Briargate) but NOTHING like last year!! Maybe the freeze in April helped, last year at this time we were already at 100 degrees every day and a LOT of moths.

Thus, the fires!

In the fall the moths return home again but they are never as bad as spring time migration.

Yeah we are getting more in Parker than normal just knocked my first one down in the house 2 days ago.

Yes, the moths have started to show up finally in the past week or two, but they are either more spread out or fewer in number this year compared to some years. Not much to complain about.

I've seen a few, but the birds that eat the moths are here as well, I'm hoping that they are kept in check.

There's a few in and around the house now, but probably the fewest I've seen since I moved here (in '09).
