I've been looking for some Colorado theme shirts. I can find them on Ebay, I can find them in gift shops, but I can't seem to find any in thrift stores. I'm not interested in paying a rip off machine 15 bucks for a shirt, but I'd love to find a place that sells them for 3 to 5 bucks per shirt. Any clues on where to check?

I've looked at GoodWill, the Arc, and Platos, but haven't found them. If it was just one shirt I'd waste the extra money to end the search, but I'm looking to buy around 10 of them. In Iowa, shirts that said "Iowa" were incredibly common. Ironic, because it seems that the shirt might remind them that they were in Iowa, something most people would wish to forget.

Searching craigslist was a massive fail.

Anything related to U of C, Pikes Peak, the Springs, or Colorado as a whole would be interesting. As a side note that is somewhat related, I'm looking for mugs with the same themes

Walgreens always has Colorado shirts (in Colorado, anyway) - sometimes very cheap.

+1 on Walgreens. WallyMart has them too. During the summer, mainly.

I don't typically see locals wearing Colorado T-shirts, so not surprising that thrift stores would not have them. But on the other hand, if you did have one, why on earth would you ever want to get rid of it.

That's what I was thinking Jill. Hard time understanding why more locals don't wear them. I can understand not wanting to be labeled as a tourist, but even tourists are bringing spending to our economy

I guess I'll need to check those places out. Amazon has them, but usually wants around 12-19 bucks after shipping. I'm happy to just buy used clothes, after all, they'll be used once I put them on anyway.

Also if you have any military acquaintances (don't recall if you are military, but don't think so?) see if they'd be willing to check the PX/BX for you. There's quite the little section of Colorado gear in the Peterson BX store, I bought a cool book of photos to take to my Grandparents. I'm sure they've got shirts but don't know what they cost.

Of course it costs me more to shop there, because I have zero self control where Godiva chocolate is concerned and they have the good boxes of the stuff...mmm...

I can't remember for certain but I think the prices at the tourist shops in Manitou were reasonable. I would think they'd have sales at the end of tourist season but not sure if anyone does.

Did you look in wally world. Right now, everyone is on fire selling shirts to benefit the current tragedies. I find it hard to believe you cannot find a CO shirt. Is there an urgent reason you need a CO shirt? I am sure someone would step forward if the reason was suitable.

My reasons aren't urgent. I just love the area and want to display it on my chest

I don't go shopping much, so I wouldn't have thought to check the OCC/MS. Usually tourist places are expensive and poorly made, so I tend to avoid them. I'd certainly be interested in buying through a charitable group that is donating the proceeds to help victims of black forest.
