Thinking of moving to Colorado Springs. Can anyone tell me how the crime is for Zip Code 80922?

Thanks

No hard numbers - only experience. That's essentially where I live and I would not hesitate to recommend based on safety. It's heavily military and families. There are a few zips I might avoid based on repeatedly hearing about heavy crime within them (they all seem to happen in or around 80910 or 80916 - again, no hard numbers) but 80922/23, 20, 24, 51, 18, all very nice.

My sister lives in this zip code (Springs Ranch) for over 10 years and she hasn't experienced any crime and would recommend the area.

I live near there. It's a great area for the most part. Don't go too close to constitution if you are buying, but renting there is fine. There are a few not so nice apartments in the northern section of that zipcode also, but they are the exception rather than the rule. The suburbs in that area are excellent.

I've lived in the 80922 zip code (Stetson Hills), since 2007, and I haven't had any problems with crime in my neighborhood or my home.

I am a local Realtor in Colorado Springs. 80922 is the Springs Ranch and Stetson Hills area off of the Powers corridor. Crime is minimal in these areas and it is very close to shopping and many restaurants. If you go south of Constitution you will be in the 80915 (Cimarron Hills) zip code and this is an older neighborhood with homes built in the late 70's & 80's. Crime is a bit more prevalent but still not horrible. This entire area is conveniently located to Peterson AFB so has a heavy military presence. Overall 80922 is a great community offering many nearby amenities.
