Purchasing a house in Black Forest soon and was curious if anyone had recent experiences with any home owners inurance providers who may have provided a better rate then others?

Thanks!

Whatever it is, it won't be cheap.

Good luck!

Since I don't know if recommending agents publicly is allowed, I'd be happy to give a recommendation via DM who was VERY helpful after last year's hailstorm and roof/gutter/window damages.

Just as a heads up.. after much research want to share some experiences. Keep in mind I did not try all insurance agencies. I tried a broker who dealt with multiple agencies.. prices were higher then the rest.. sometimes MUCH higher. Allstate had the best prices with some reasonable fire mitigation expected(they send an inspector). Farmers requires any propane tanks to be at least 30ft away from the house(if you have this already you are good to go). State Farm was slightly more than Allstate although the requirements were less on the mitigation.

Hope that helps some people!

Thanks
