Has population gone up, sure. it always goes up. I haven't seen any recent business announcement that would indicate a mass influx so I thinks its just normal growth. I have seen several recent Ft Carson homecomings, so that could be part of it. Plus, with the Denver housing market, we may be seeing people move here to avoid those prices.
Essentially, that's my route to and from work everyday. Needless to say, is seems worse with each passing week. When I get on NB 25 at Cimarron, the stop and go for 10 miles reminds me of the bad ole days when I lived in Metro Denver, commuting from Englewood to Douglas County. Now they are re-paving 30th N of GOG. Not to say it doesn't need it, just another detour in my daily commute. Really hoping it's school and construction.

I would surmise that is because as people start to look for ways around the usual routine, they are beginning to jam up all the lesser know routes and turning it into a general quagmire.
