What is there to do late at night here? We don't drink/go clubbing, so that's out. What's something cool that either just my lady and I could go do, or a group of us? I'm talking about like after two in the morning. I get restless.

Oh heavens...not much to do at 2am, not here. As far I know, the only two things that are happening at 2am is sleep and sex. And usually those are not done with a group of people...
What about playing poker or something with your friends at someone's house?

Never thought of that; that's a good idea.

Yes, I highly recommend you try sleeping and sex. It does a body good, not to mention the soul!!
JK. When I was in my younger twenties, we would frequently hang out at someone else's house all hours of the night playing poker, dominoes, spades, things like that.
Now that I am 31 yrs young, I elect to do the other option... It is cheaper and easier with three kids. In fact, I think choosing the sleep and sex is what got me 3 kids...not sure though. Might have to research it more.

Heck even in Denver the most that you can do after the bars close is to head to a place like Village Inn, Denny's, Perkin's...that is outside of your home. That's about it here. Oh, wait, Waffle House.

Just plan ahead - get movies, get some board games and invite the friends, get to the liquor store and stock up and pick up some good food at the grocery. Also, get some good coffee for those late night game/poker/other card game sessions. Haivng friends stay and play all night is fun. Stay up until sunrise, make a quick breakfast then head up to places like Palmer Park to go hiking.

Unless you live in a huge cities like LA, Chicago, NYC...not much to be had after 2:00 am.

That's a good idea. Thanks.
Yeah, that's true. In LA, I was constantly rushing from one thing to the next. Now, I just sit, and work, and go out SOMETIMES. It's great.

Hopefully if Amendment 50 passes, you could head up to Cripple Creek and try your luck. Right now casinos must close between 2am-8am, but if 50 passes, they have the option of going 24/7 and offer roulette and craps......so we'll have REAL casinos!

Other than that, there is nothing to do after the bars close in ANY town (well, except Las Vegas and some part of Florida that are open until 4am). When I lived in Vegas, it was great to go bowling at 3am for $1/game.

Since Amendment 50 is a Constitutional amendment - I am voting against it. Our state Constitution is too cluttered and such things should be hammered out in the legislature or as a regular proposition so it can be ammended as needed.

Yeah, anything that is trying to be added to the state Constitution is being voted against by me.

I'm fickle that way.
