Smile Suggestions: Restaurant for child's birthday???

Hi everyone!

We will be in the Springs on Saturday for my son's hockey game, and because it's my other son's birthday, I'm looking for a restaurant where we can go to dinner and celebrate afterwards.

Are there any places that would be fun for a five-year-old (besides Chucky Cheese) - somewhere with a good kids menu, where maybe they have you wear a silly hat while they sing a silly song, etc. Somewhere noisy!!! :c) We will be in the downtown area.

Thanks so much for any advice.

Suzette

Or Mr. Biggs caters to kids parties - they have two locations you could try in town (one out east off Powers & Stetson Ridge that caters to younger kids, and one closer to downtown off I-25 & Mark Dabling that caters to all ages of kids - I think they have more flexible pricing options than ITZ: Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center

No way, Itz is way cheaper than Mr Biggs. I know, I have a 5 year old that demands I take her there all the time. It isn't near downtown though.

Fargo's Pizza is east of downtown.
Mr. Biggs is up by Woodmen and the Interstate. ITZ is on the east side of town. Joe's Crab Shack does wacky things for bdays and is by the Citadel Mall. If it was up to me, I might consider going downtown to Poor Richards. It is a local pizza place connected to a neat toy store. I don't think they will sing to your son, but you never know. But, you can spend time browsing the toy store that is connected to it.
My kids request Solo's for bdays. They make a big deal, food is average. The highlight is that you eat on an airplane and play in the cockpit. It is on the east side of Springs too, by the airport off of Powers.
Good luck!

I think there is a new pizza place down by Poor Richards. But you can also hit Paninos which is about 2 blocks up from Poor Richards.

Toxic, when you find out the name of that pizza place, please post it. I will look for it too. I want to try it.

I also like Leon Gessi out off of Palmer Park and Union. Then the one my wife likes is Rotelli's. But froggin4colorado I will get my wife to see if that shop is still there. I am overseas right now so I personally won;t be able to look.

It is from all the visits to Manitou that helps me out. And for you locals from Manitou I am just joking. You know my brother has always called it "Man-toe". Wierd huh?
