Gate 20 anchors the southern end of the Colorado Springs bypass (Powers Corridor). In Fountain the bypass is called Mesa Ridge Parkway or Highway 16. From Fontaine Blvd, you would go south on Highway 85/87 past the Dairy Queen, and the exit will be on the right to get on highway 16 or Mesa Ridge Parkway. Go west on that road and you will end up at gate 20.

Yup, if you have come across Fountain Creek Regional Park or the fertilizer plant you have gone too far. Its the big overpass over 85/87. If you do Fontaine Blvd to Fountain Mesa and then turn onto Mesa Ridge Parkway, it will take you straight to Gate 20, just past the I. But the quickest route would be 85/87. Once traffic gets backed up, you can learn the back way that takes you by Webster Elem and Mesa Ridge HS to Mesa Ridge Prkwy. Gosh I miss it there!

It will be a bit confusing with all the road construction going on right now. Just keep your eyes peeled for the highway 16 west sign. The entrance is not normally where it should be, due to them having to re-route the on ramps for the construction.

Like the others said though, mesa ridge pkwy/highway 16 dead ends at Gate 20

Thank you. We have been buying the phillips brand maryland crab cakes which taste really good. My husband was born at Johns Hopkins. We went to Baltimore a couple of months ago and got lost thank goodness to GPS but that city is huge

The roads are very confusing especially when it comes to getting certain places and you have to hop on the interstate or highway and take exits and stuff just to get to Home Depot, I'm not used to that especially after being in Kansas for 6 years. I have been walking outside a lot more, the weather is so beautiful compared to Kansas and everyone in my neighborhood goes for daily walks which is very motivating.

Good o'l Kansas. I don't miss that place for a second! LOL (grew up in Wichita, grandma lived in Wakefield, and another grandma still lives in McPherson).

Welcome to the Pikes Peak Region!! I think this area has the perfect weather and the best scenery.

Lowe's is much closer than Home Depot. It is on the corner of Mesa Ridge Parkway and Fountain Mesa - fyi.
