I know finding a job in CO is a challenge but what types of jobs that pay a liveable wage are somewhat easy to obtain in CO?

There are a lot of people who want to live here, and many move here without jobs. I am sure that most high paying jobs have significant competition.

I am in education, and this past year we had 100-200 applicants for every posted position.

What skills do you have? What are you interested in doing?

I want to ask you some questions (on jobs of specific nature) because I want to move there.

Because of my non-allergic rhinitis, I have a very limited lists where i can be productive. Anywhere with heat, dry or cold is bad. So, the South and East coast , and Westcoast are out. I need sunshine and so midwest is not a choice.

I don't want to hi-jack this thread and so I will start a thread in forum (City-Data Forum > U.S. Forums > Colorado ) titled "These jobs".

Mistake. I meant extreme heat, humid, and cold with no sunshine for a long time like in midwest is bad.

Sounds like where you'd really want to be would be coastal Southern California, in particular San Diego County. It gets freakin' cold in CO. It is on the same plains as much of the Midwest.

Im not sure where exactly you all are at, I moved to the Western Slope 2 months ago & the job market has been so challenging for me I am a LPN, and everything here is RN based it is becoming so frustrating and discouraging...... let alone STRESSFUL. I am more than qualified!! I look everyday local paper and etc. What they tell me even though it is a big town/city it is very small job wise, basically its who you know , I am to the point I am not sure what to do, I dont want to end up being demoted as I would take it, but I just may have to .... or I am going to end up like one of the many homeless! **SAD**

Enough of all of these threads talking about jobs in Colorado. Geez.

If you haven't figured out that jobs are just as hard to find here as they are in other parts of the country, I don't know what to tell you.
