So I am new to Colorado and went apartment shopping yesterday. I am in my early 20's, single, and do not yet know anyone in the area besides the people I work with. I looked everywhere and the best places I found were off the 25 right on the outskirts of the Denver Tech Center. I am just wondering if anyone has any opinions about this area or has had any experience living there? I have looked all over Denver from LoDo, Ballpark areak, Highlands, Capitol Hill, BelMar etc and either they were out of my price range or just seemed too crowded. Any thoughts?

I'm not quite sure I understand the question. Are you saying you would like replies about the tech center or the other places you listed?

I know several people who own condos in that area and they seem to love it. I think one couple has been there for about 15 years. DTC does have quite a bit to do for a younger person. Probably not as much as downtown, but I think you can now take the lightrail there so that shouldn't be a problem. Most of those areas are surrounded by upper middle class neighborhoods as well. Crime is going to be less than downtown I would imagine.

Are you asking a different question or for different information than you asked for in this thread?
