PUEBLO, Colo. — A survey by 24/7 Wall Street named Pueblo the 19th worst American city to live in.
The list reviewed data on more than 551 U.S. cities with populations of 65,000 or more as measured by the U.S. Census Bureau.
The review looked at crime rates, employment growth, access to restaurants and attractions, educational attainment, and housing affordability.

If true, then the USA is doing pretty good, because Pueblo is not a bad place to live.

That is actually a good way to put it. I mean I have a MBA from a top University, the University of San Diego, and could live anywhere but choose to live in Pueblo because I love it and if I felt unsafe at all I would move as no city is worth my safety. Plus with being the marijuana valley the economy is booming and Pueblo is using that money to make the city better including the university as not only are the one of the only universities in the nation to study marijuana and publish a peer reviewed journal but gave out almost $500,000 dollars in marijuana scholarship money to Pueblo county students, a first in the world.

We aim to make Pueblo a better place.

We obviously need more colleges in the county, so... Thinking about starting one up in Pueblo West. Also thinking about a curriculum that will benefit the immediate area. So far, I've got... Green Chile Making 301, How to build and maintain a Rat-rod/ Hot-rod that is five times more valuable than your home... State Fair Economics 101... Creative ways to use Duct Tape and Plexiglass for Auto Repairs, ...

Nice list

So what is the wonderful source? [I always look at those details] From their own site:

24/7 Wall St., LLC is a Delaware corporation which runs a financial news and opinion company with content delivered over the Internet.

Sounds like an awesome source of information (wink)

Those studies and articles are pretty worthless, always so skewed and usually contradicting each other; just recently another publication named Pueblo among a best of. I always roll my eyes whenever I see a best of/worst of list.

Although I would never personally live in Pueblo, it's because I don't enjoy the hotter drier climate (temps above 80 degrees make me ) not because I think it's a bad place. I do visit from time to time in the Spring or late Fall when a walk along the Riverwalk does not melt me

Dog, Pueblo West University needs a master degree program in marijuana cultivation, THC genetics, finance and marketing. Graduates would be Weeder Meisters.
