As I recall Colorado and Utah get the least stimulus per person. Maybe at least in that case we will learn to fend for ourselves a bit, even though we aren't doing much right now. I'm more of a person who prefers to take care of himself, self-sufficiency and whatnot. It's a shame the lesson of sustainability couldn't be learned.

Direct spending but if you factor in other parts like the "buy American" provision and the alternative energy part I am not so sure Colorado would be on the bottom...
