Who actually reviews their insurance contracts to make sure they understand their coverage? Or do you just assume your agent has given you what you need?

I will be forthright here, I am a licensed insurance salesman in SC. And I work for a specific organization because of several reasons. But one reason is because we meet with our clients on a regular basis. This allows us to keep up with their life changing events. And if their needs no longer match their coverage, we change it or help with meeting their needs with a different product. But so many people tell me that they haven't seen their agent since they bought their policy. When I deliver their certificate, I always make sure there aren't any questions left unanswered. And of course, hope they have thought of some referrals for me.
