Is there a website that breaks it down? I already made a list of apartments...now all I need to know are which elementary schools are located in the better areas to narrow it down.

This link is to the Richland District One locator. If the address is not on this locator and is in NE Richland County then it is in District 2. If it is not on this locator and it's in NW Richland County, then it's in Lexington/Richland District 5. I could not find a specific map.

I was using this link often to find the school for each house I was considering, but the link no longer appears to be working. Does anyone know if there's another?

Go directly to the Richland County GIS mapping service:
Richland County Maps
Choose Online Mapping, and then in the interactive window that opens up, click on the Education folder and check School Districts. The click on Refresh. You can zoom as close as you need to figure out which district you will be in.

Found this tool on Richland 1 website:

VersaTrans e-Link - Login
Enter the address (appears you must include zip code) and it will tell you to which school an addess is assigned and the bus route.
