I recently got a call for an interview , then I got called back for a second interview, and then I got the call for a job offer. I went in thursday at 10am for the job offer, and they first told me I was at the wrong store...until I corrected them and told them I already had my interviews. Then they said they couldnt find my paper work, but they got a manager to do my job offer anyways. I signed the papers for the background check and did my drug test...and was told i had the job unless sometjhing showed up in my tests, but they all knew i dont do drugs and nothing bad in my background either...but he said they would cll me for orientation.
It has been over a week...it will be 2 weeks this thursday and I havent heard anything. I am scared they are going to say they never sent it in, i dont know, they already lost my paperwork. Is there anything i can do. I know all the people who did my interview and job offer. Should I contact them. What should i do, or just wait....Confused

Call them. People get busy and priorities change. A gentle reminder won't hurt a thing.

Yeah, call them. If they have forgotten amid all the Memorial Day stuff, when they remember, they will probably not like that you haven't called them. My wife does hiring for her company and I know she likes to be gently reminded by a prospective employee.

Mind you, not three times a day or anything, but to at least make sure they are still on it.
