Hi all!

I would be interested in knowing other than the searches I've done if there are any feasible accounting support jobs (if available) that pay a wage that can pay the bills as a sole renter comfortably? So far my internet search has kind of come out to be not very fruitful as there's very few jobs @ indeed.com and so forth as well as the one or two with the stated $10-$11/hr salary just doesn't cut it or is there another avenue one must take to secure such type employment in the Columbia, SC area?

Thanks!

I would contact the headhunting firms that specialize in accountants. Accounttemps specifically in your situation.

The wages you listed sound like they would be for Accounting Clerks or something like that. Accountants would make much more than that. I work in banking and that's in the neighborhood of a starting wage for a teller.

Do you have an associate or bachelors degree in accounting or some accounting experience?

AppleOne, AccountTemps & Kelly Services are some staffing firms to call. Also, I've had better luck with Career Builder than Indeed for accountant job postings in this area.
