My sister wants to go to Carowinds this weekend. What's the difference between the online price and the gate price? Online it says $34 admission + $5.99 processing fee + $4.16 taxes.

Thanks

I just went through the online process but stopped short of checking out, it shows that a regular Fall Daytime admission base price is $47 and it lists the Regular Gate Price as $65.

I know this isn't your question, but the yearly Season Pass is only $100, so I believe if you buy a season pass now, you get one entry this year to Carowinds and then next year is all included. Only takes two trips to justify the price generally.

Look again! Online prices are $34 for daytime Fall admission. The only thing I didn't know that you mentioned was the gate price. If it's $65 then the online price is probably the better bargain. I just wanted to make sure because I don't know what's up with this $5.99 processing fee. Sometimes if you total everything up including taxes/fees for online vs gate, the difference is negligible or not necessarily better. Thanks.

That sounds good. My sister is however more of a once in a long while kind of park visitor. She's mostly doing it for her daughter whose birthday passed last weekend. Good to know, however. Thanks.
