Any great place to order birthday cake(ice cream cake) in columbia? Also, who gives the best deal on customized items like kids cakes?

Designer Cakes & More Too is of Two Notch Rd at the corner of Rabon and Two Notch in the Shopping Center. They usually have some good deals. Not sure about ice cream cakes, but they do a lot of other types of cakes.

Baskin Robins always has Ice Cream cakes.

Tiffany's Bakery may do them as well.

As far as a regular rectangular, flat, typical birthday cake goes, BI-LO. It's moist and the icing is great.

Does anyone has any first hand experience with marbleslab (marbleslab.com)? They have few stores in columbia(on gervais and also on Pelham drive next to target). I heard they are good.

We got a small cake from the Bi-Lo bakery once, and it was actually pretty good.

Nothing beats a Baskin-Robbins or Dairy Queen ice cream cake in my book though!

I have gotten ice cream from the Gervais store and it was first rate but a little expensive. I don't know if they do cakes but I imagine they would be top notch.

I am not sure if Wal-Mart makes ice cream cakes or not, but I do not suggest ever buying any kind of birthday cakes from them. My 24th birthday was on August 7, here is a picture of my birthday cake from Wal-Mart: Diaper Cakes By Wendy: Why NOT to buy a Birthday cake from Wal-Mart!!

LOL I am starting to become that way too, but here in Sumter there aren't many other choices. Though I have decided I am doing my kid's Christmas shopping at K Mart, they have layaway! (that cake was purchased at the Garner's Ferry Rd Columbia Wal Mart)
