People are forgetting that Columbus setting on a RiverVally. No one in this world could get a clear shot of downtown.

no one is going to throw money at skyward expansion until the cost of real estate makes it cheaper than additional land.


that's just silly. you'll never be able to recoup your investment from leasing because the building next door will rent for half the cost.


the construction requirements for building upwards make it exponentially more expensive than building outwards.

What is a true skyline?

Definition of skyline is the line along which the sky seems to touch the earth; visible horizon

Savannah is the only city outside of Atlanta who have a real skyline.

Columbus,Augusta & Macon all have tall buildings between 5-20 stories.

That same area shot can be seen in columbus,on higher stand point.

The picture of Augusta was taken in North Augusta across the Savannah River. How is the Savannah the only skyline outside of Atlanta?

This is Macon skyline from far back.



Does that look equal to you?

This picture also bring me to my point that I was making first.

Columbus,Macon & Augusta all have buildings ranging from 5-20 stories.While Savannah skyline is all equal out.
