Lots left to be done, but it's being transformed - that's for sure!

I was looking at Google Earth street view yesterday and I saw something I thought was really cool. If you are going sout down Broardway and get to the intersection of Broadway and 11th street the imagery dates change from 10/2012 to 4/2014 when you go on 11th street. You can really see a difference on how far downtown has come in just 2 years! I noticed how many empty store fronts were suddenly transformed into restaurant space. I look forward to seeing how it grows in the coming years.

I was downtown yesterday and noticed the Aaron's building has a sign that says the building has been sold. Anyone know what is going on? I know the Ledger is moving since CSU has purchased their building. Could they be moving right across the street?

Yeah, I saw that too - it was sold for $1.25 million back a month or so ago, but no idea who the buyer is a lawyer created a LLLP to cover up who the actual owner is. Sometimes businesses use this rather than using their real business name. Probably not Ledger, or CSU - interested to see who it is. Company name is EJWH,LLLP

Interesting. I really hope someone does something with the old Raymond Rowe building across from there. I consider that a very underutilized piece of property.
