I don't see a new grocer entering the market with a small urban location.

I hate to say it, but could it be Walmart?

Honestly, I still suspect it will be Publix and that negotiations are still ongoing. Allegedly Publix can be very "particular" to work with.

My first thought was Kroger. I’d take anything over WalMart

For sure! I just know this has to spark a trend in Urban developments around downtown town after a successful open! More projects like this and the walk ability score would def be 80-99 lol.

Yes I agree. Hopefully they can connect new developments to Highside Market because its not easy or safe to walk to from broadway. Nor the scarcity of parking helps!

Yeah with downtown already being as dense as it is, less car traffic is going to happen. I can guarantee you 13th St will digest into a 2 lane to make way for pedestrian friendly paths on both sides to accommodate bikes, walking, e scooters, etc. Thus more mixed used developments can sit along 13th St. Thats just where I see it going…it has to in a sense. If not both sides then at least 1 side of 13th St will be for pedestrian use only.
