Hey there. I'm moving from Cincy to Cbus within the next month. I'm excited to start anew, especially in a city where I hear nothing but good stuff. On the downside, Cincy is a lot more affordable than Cbus seems to be. I am not a fan of complexes and bigger realty companies. While Craigslist and HotPads DOES have some good, cozy apartments in the area once in a while, they dont pop up often and I'm having a hard time finding private landlords. Was wondering if anybody here could help me out? Doesnt necessarily have to be a private landlord, I just need help finding a decent landlord in general.

I'm looking for either a 1 br or a studio/efficiency (which seems to be easy for my price range), preferably no more than $600 a month. If anybody can help me out, give me tips and references, that would be amazing. Thank you.

Where do you want to live?
I would scout out neighborhoods, then drive around looking for for rent signs. Clintonville, south of Clintonville, Grandview are good rental areas but a $600 budget might be tight. Victorian Village, German Village, Short North are popular too but pricey with tight inventory.
Many property owners I know use Craigslist, keep checking constantly.
Good luck!
