I think more info is needed in large part due to the number of towns around Columbus, some close, some far and some cheaper and some much more expensive, that you can find older farm houses. Also, are you looking for an actual house in the countryside among farms or one of the older homes you find on grid streets in small towns like Marysville, Delaware or Granville?

So, questions: What is your budget? Are schools important? What is the desired commute you want to Columbus? If commuting, where in the metro and how frequently (daily, 2-3 days a week, weekend shopping trips only)? Farm country or old tree-lined town neighborhood?
