Hello;
We are to look at a rental home in this area and I know nothing about it. Can anyone give any insight. Is this area good, bad, inbetween, family friendly or not, shools, neighborhood activiies etc? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

If it helps any map quest puts this area about 5 blocks from the Franklin Park Conservatory.

This is Old Town East. Improving, but not there yet. There are many threads here on OTE.

I'm confused. I just looked at a house on wilson by livingston. Too me this is far from E Long Street. How big and wide is the OTE area? Can anyone tell me what borders this area?

Can you provide the zip code or street names?

Long Street is in the King-Lincoln district. It's probably the last of the Near East Side neighborhoods to see a lot of revitalization.

Not where I would choose to live. OTE in general can be pretty rough, but if you're interested in living there I would stay between Broad and Bryden.
