My first computer was a Commodore 64 but my dad got angry at me and shot it. I used it for homework and papers but I also played The Bard's Tale on it.

But I wouldn't buy a remake of it for nostalgia. If I gotta buy a PC then I'd buy a custom built PC.

Yeah I've read about this before. It's pretty cool but still kind if gimmicky. I agree that I would still probably just get a mini atx or similar instead. I've had two C64's and I have a plus/4 still up in a closet (anybody want it?). Don't get me wrong I still think the C64 is one of the coolest computers made though.
