(sorry if I am posting this in the wrong category)

How come when I go to my email on my "Microsoft Outlook", I get a popup box to enter my network password~? It is staring me in the face right now as I type this. I have numerously put my password in and clicked okay, but it still pops up. Does this have any connections with me changing my password?

I am also having numerous of issues with my ISP, which is "insight". For some reason they have changed their web-mail to another program and my messages kept going to my trash box. I got tired of transferring them to my inbox, since I get a lot and I call them yesterday....and hell's bells....all of my inbox mail has been deleted~! These were important emails that I needed with important info and they are all gone~! I presume the guy who helped me deleted them. I called today and they put in another work order. Is there a way they can retrieve them~?

Insight's mail server is expecting a particular password. Outlook will keep asking for your password until you give it the right one.

I've had to change my password a few times when insights tech support had to go in to check my problem. I've changed it also on the outlook popup box, but no matter how many times I put it in the popup box appears and it won't even load my messages there.

Then there's a 99.999% chance you're not entering the right user name and password combination. The user name could either be just the user name (ie veggienut) or the whole email address (ie veggienut@insight.com).

Have you tried deleting the account in Outlook and re-creating it? It might be worth a shot.

Could be you're simply not setup correctly. Have you selected "Remember Password" in Tools > Account Settings?
