I have cable internet and it does fine til I multitask. lol Then it goes out for a few seconds.

I thought maybe the RF 5 wire connecting the cable modem to the PC might have a kink so I replaced it with a spare but still have the issue.

I installed this PC drivers update software and thinking it may have changed a protocol.

How do I fix that?

Define multitask. What are you doing when it happens?

Multi task is viewing CD and going to you tube or a Facebook game, especially happens when I play UNO.

Is it possible the adobe? I uninstalled the older versions including java in hopes that was the issue.
Should I uninstall - reinstall adobe next?

It seems to do it when computer has more than one task to send info on the web.

From the above it sounds like when you are switching browser screens it takes a couple of seconds before the new browser screen completes loading, yes/no?

Did this just suddenly start occurring?

What is "it"?

I downloaded this driver manager last week, which is great my printer works and updated my video driver.
I was out down the day after that and wasnt on pc til Monday.

I just check cable modem when I'm disconnected from internet, and it not showing any interruption.

I think my signal has become weak as I just did a bandwidth test and wow it has become slow.
My download speed 14.2mps and upload 1.11 mps.
This would explain disconnect when running multiple programs especially video.

Now if I could figure the smoking gun.

Do you guys think the splitter hook to house might have gone bad?

Possible, go reseat the connections....

I know where I am we don't get much rain, sometimes for a month or two and when it rains after one of those dry spells I can guarantee my Internet performance will be slow for a couple of days because of the moisture in the TW junction box outside...

How is your wireless/copper connection from your system to the router?

Does your Event Viewer show any errors?

From a command line issue the "netstat -i" command, are there any Ierrs or Oerrs?
