Group: Seeking help for one of my regular users who reports the following problem using FireFox here on City-Data.
User has an iMac with FireFox. When trying to view this photo-heavy thread, user gets the spinning orb and the thread never loads. No one else reports this issue. User switched to Safari and the thread loaded properly.
Is this an issue with FireFox that can be resolved by tweaking a setting, or perhaps a known bug?
Thank you.

If they have upped the display thread option to 40 posts/page it could be a simple matter of timing out, especially if there is a lot of searching for "dead" pics.
I have had the same problem too, for example I try loading a thread on the last page, doesn't work. I try loading it on the 6th page, it works. So I click "post reply" just so I can scroll down and see the latest posts.
Windows XP (work pc)
Firefox 18.0.2
I've encountered the same problem on my Macbook pro/Firefox 24. It actually freezes everything up on my MB to the point it takes around one minute to click the apple and get the force quit feature. Sometimes it takes me two or three tries after clicking it cause the dialog box with the choices disappears. I usually just try to restart the computer, which also takes several tries. When its' rebooted, Firefox reopens to the same problem page even though I don't have it set to restore last session, and then the spinning beach ball returns !
I have this problem with Safari, not Firefox. Odd.
