I have Vista/IE8. I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, and everything was fine, then Mozilla tells me that I need to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, which I thought I had done months ago. Where did it go, because I could not find it? So I downloaded again, with Firefox. Now, if I download something twice, will it harm my P/C?

Would somebody be able to tell me where in my computer do I find Adobe Flash Player? It does not show that I downloaded it anywhere. Only thing that shows is Acrobat, and Adobe Media Player, but even tonight I still do not see the Flash Player, anywhere. I looked into the Control Panel, my Computer, etc.,

Thank you,

The Flash plugin is different for IE and Firefox. In Firefox, go to Adobe - Adobe Flash Player and install Flash for Firefox. Be sure to uncheck the box for McCrappy Security Scan.

Thank you,

Hello all Abode just recently updated the flash player. I was having issues downloading the new software while using internet explorer. Kept telling me that I needed to use a 32 bit explorer because abode had not updated for 64 bit explorer yet. I figured out a very quick fix if needed. You just download google chrome, and it will let you download then new abode flash player update. Then abode flash player will work fine in google chrome or window explorer browser.

Please stop posting this, installing chrome is NOT the proper solution to the problem you were having, many people have tried to tell you that but you can't seem to comprehend it.

Until you know how to use a web browser there isn't much point in addressing your other issues.

And in the future, start your own thread for your questions, using someone elses thread is called hijacking and considered bad form.

Try unchecking "Filter ActiveX controls". I kept installing Flash over and over, and it still said I needed to install it, until I did the above.
