Pink Screen of Death - how much to fix? (work, connection, cable)

My old and tired netbook has acquired Pink Screen of death. This has been appearing for a couple months whenever the screenn was open to 90 degreees reducing the angle made it go away when the angle was reduced.

So what sort of price range are we talking about to fix this?

Depends on the cause, could be a bad connection, bad cable, or bad LCD. If you're not doing the work yourself the cost could be more than it's worth.
