Last year we moved to Oklahoma and had been using the email server from our previous company in another state. After awhile I changed our email to Cox.net. When I tried to email photos from Picasa, it offered me gmail or "something else", which shows up as Outlook for Mac. I made Outlook my preference but when I select some pictures and click on Email, it just goes to my Outlook Inbox...no message with the the pix attached. Since that wouldn't work, I tried emailing with my gmail account and got "An error occurred trying to send message. Please try again later." Well, I've tried later...over and over again.

I want to use my Cox account but I'll use gmail if necessary. How do I make one of those things happen? Thanks.

It should not matter what you used to edit the photo (from Picasa, Elements, PhotoShop, etc.). More than likely the problem you are having relates to how you setup your Internet/mail account. Your service provider should be able to help you set the account properly. Otherwise the problem may be related to the settings in whichever mail applications you are using. Also, if you are using a Mac, why not using Mail?

Now, lets say that you use gmail. In this case you connect to gmail on the Internet. Once there you compose an email, and choose "attach" files or document (whatever these may be). You are attaching the photos from your computer to the email you are writing, then click on send.
