Windows backup gets an error: 0x80070005 Access Denied.
When I try to do a backup to a 320 GB WD USB hard drive.
It says the backup size is 199.07 GB. The 320 GB drive is
empty till the backup. When it quits with the error, the
amount of space taken up on the 320 GB drive is about the
same as the size of the backup. Is that supposed to be the
size it should be after completing, or the size written so far?
The backup is mostly an image, plus about 28 GB of
user files.

I would think backup would run with administrative privileges,
so it doesn't make sense it would get access denied for
anything.

This is Windows 7. The C drive is 1 TB. There are no other
drives connected, than the 320 GB WD USB drive used for
the backup. The total amount of stuff on the C drive is about
156 GB. The total space available on the backup drive before
the backup is almost exactly 320 billion bytes (Not GB). I
think that's what WD means by 320 GB.

I haven't used Microsoft Backup in the past, so it's probably
something such as a bug or something that everyone knows
about but me. I was hoping to back up an image so I could
restore Windows without reinstalling it the next time it flakes
out.
