This is not a political discussion. I don't care whether any of you like or dislike Hillary.

But here is my question. It appears they have found -- according to one source -- as many as 30,000 emails on a laptop belonging to either Huma or Weiner.

How is that even possible?

According to the existing documentation on the investigation, Huma forwarded email from another account to her account on that laptop in order to print them.

I am not impressed by numbers. I wonder how many of those emails are spam about a king in Nigeria, a business proposal, or Amazon wanting a review of some sex toy.

I imagine 30K emails would be easy to accumulate. particularly on a computer used for work!

30K is entirely plausible. Assuming they span the 4 years Clinton was SOS that's only 20 per day. Clinton turned over 30K for same time period, another 15K were found by the FBI she never turned over. An unknown amount are still out there.

You can connect an email account to as many devices as you possess. If you use email software, your device will keep a local copy of all of that email. It sounds like Huma connected her account to an email client on this laptop and forgot about it. Thus, the email was cached by that email client on it, under her account.

Some now claim it is more like 650k emails, perhaps created by Outlook's backup/replication from server to laptop. If so, this will be mixed with hubby's illicit communications, visits to porn sites et al.

It will take many folks a while to sort and sift this stuff...but should provide much entertainment and more revelations about Hillary and Bill activities over the years. Complexity will reign as the investigation, election, old/new administration, FBI, and Justice Departments overlap, etc.

Grab some popcorn and watch the food fights...

I have a number of lawyers as clients, 30k emails isn't unusual.

Maintaining the non political email discussion. If anyone was curious HOW Podesta's gmail account was actually hacked, it was a simple phishing email that is used successfully on a regular basis. Basically his own, and his IT teams security failures.
