Is the issue still occurring when you are browsing sober?
On a more serious note, always use another browser to see if the issue occurred with that browser as well or not:
- If it did, whether it is a system setting that was turned on by accident or malware related, it is system wide.
- If another browser such as Firefox or IE is not exhibiting the issue, then it is more than likely isolated to the browser in use, whether it is a setting of the browser or an add-on that was installed.

No!! Not the wine
Im gonna try a different browser though!
I have an update.
I disabled the touch pad on my laptop and using a wireless mouse instead. And now it works like it should. I'm blaming my sticky fingered kids for this one.
There are days when I just get the base of my thumb *close* to the touchpad and stuff starts going wonky. I don't look at the screen while I'm typing, and sometimes I look up to see a bunch of stuff gone, or cut out of the place it should have been and stuck somewhere else...drives me nuckingfutz sometimes.
