I have to say I ALWAYS hated when a game didn't give you the ability to find the answers in some way if you got stuck, senseless......so the net was good in that way.

ahh you mean like myst? God i use to hate that game. Girlfriend use to come over and take up my computer for hours playing that stupid game

I was an Unreal Tournament guy, damn did I put some hours into that as a youth.

I think you could have put a blindfold on me and placed my finger on a keyboard I could have run thru any of the maps and told you right before I was going to pick up a certain gun or powerup.

We used our dorm LAN at OSU for some great Unreal Tournament playing

I played something similar for about oh an hour. The graphics were admittedly really good for their time. But "walk here, find this, walk there, solve this puzzle" got verrrry boring very quickly to me and that's all those things were. I like interaction with characters and/or action in general. That's why Star Control was so great; it had both.

lol. I actually much preferred playing together with others vs the monsters as opposed to beating up on each other. Great fun knowing people had your back and vice versa.
