I love taking the train out of greenwich and usually park in the commuter lot but under the overpass ther is metered parking and a lot of cars park there. Obviously people park here for the day, does anyone know how much the meters are for day parking? I'm thinking its cheaper than the commuter lot.

The meters on the Avenue have a two hour limit, so that wouldn't be an option for you, but maybe the ones by the station are different. Stamford parking may be cheaper too, and there are more NYC trains out of Stamford.

I think Stamford parking is more. Its $5 bucks at Greenwich and Stamford I think is 8 bucks. The overpass I'm talking about is off of exit 3 of I-95. You go right off the exit, a right onto railroad aveue and then your first right. Its on this street where the overpass is with the meters. I saw a gal today parking there, feeding the meter and then walking to the train station. I'll check them out tomorrow.
