That is what I dislike about Westfield. They just fill the stores with whatevber store is willing to pay the most rent. There are so many crappy stores that it takes away from any type of shopping experience. I do not want to walk past 10 junk shops to go between the few good quality stores there are. I guess that it one of the reasons I really do not shop at malls very much anymore. Jay

I wish this was a shopping poll rather than a mall poll... I find malls to be truly awful. I think walking the downtown shopping districts of Greenwich, Darien and Westport are so much more appealing than an indoor mall.

Of course, but the average middle-class shopper can't afford most of the stores in those downtowns. Even the stores in downtown Branford are very pricey.

I hate the Stamford mall. And the only other one I went to was the one in Trumbull which was okay

And thankfully many people agree with you, which is why indoor malls are on the decline and aren't being built anymore.

Milford Marketplace stole some serious thunder from the mall by attracting upscale national retailers.

Might as well call it the New Haven Galleria.

As far as actual malls go, I guess Danbury Fair, but I don't really like any of them.

I agree with skel, Buckland Hills most certainly is the largest retail hub in the state. There is just everything and anything in that area. Evergreen Walk alone is freakin huge.
