NYU Hospital without power. Back up generators are not working. Starting to transport patients
NYC reporting over 10,000 911 calls per 30 minutes

Don't they test the back up units in hospitals? I know they have a few videos on youtube testing them.

things have calmed down nicely here. starting around 7p i heard steady heavy gusts sustain for about 20 minutes (which were getting scary) before calming down to the same occasional gust that i heard before 7. now i don't hear anything. it's like the storm has left already.

What a lame storm in Bristol. We have had thunderstoms with more punch. Lowest power outages in state as of now. Wasted a lot of money preparing. Should have stayed in Salem.
