Here's another "pointless" little article from CNBC on "Most Expensive U.S State to Live." Link below

The Most Expensive US States to Live in - Yahoo! Finance

Also interesting is that at the bottom of this page is a list of "Top Quality of Life" States and CT doesn't rank. I do like CT and all (grew up here) but it does seem to be getting more and more expensive. People are still "flocking" here so something must be working. Around the Greater Hartford Area there is the lowest inventory in rentals seen in a very long time. Is this related to the Insurance Industry getting ready for Obam-ination, I mean ObamaCare.

This is going by the Stamford metro area, which is by far the most expensive area of CT. New Haven, Danbury, Waterbury, Hartford metro areas are much more affordable.

That said, the state as a whole would probably still be up there even taking the entire state into account.

Yes, I am aware that the article names Stamford. I was just posing another question from my perspective since I live and work around the Greater Hartford Area.

Ough, why that photo? With so many nice photos of this state, they just had to pick a lame one. There's nothing uniquely CT about that pic.

Why do you call article pointless? Then you go on to agree that it is getting more and more expensive. I think this is a very important aspect for people to consider when relocating...
