Population plateau or very slight increases are preferable to loss.

Loss almost always equals vacant real estate, loss of businesses, tax loss, lower real estate values, etc.

The only case where that would be mitigated is incoming high income earners offsetting a larger amount of low income people fleeing. But that is definitely not the case in CT.

Tax bill reform bill I hope it doesn’t pass In Congress it would hurt CT middle class big time

“New numbers from Congress' Joint Committee on Taxation showed that beginning in 2021, many families earning under $30,000 annually would face higher taxes under the Senate package. By 2027, families making less than $75,000 would face tax boosts while those making more would enjoy lower levies.”

Who says manufacturing can not make it here in Connecticut. This woman started her company 40 years ago in her kitchen and now has more than 300 employees. And she keeps expanding. What a great story. Jay.
