Hi everyone! Hoping you guys can help me out. I recently moved back to CT, and one thing I am noticed I am having trouble finding is restaurants with garlic knots. All of my favorite local pizzeria's in Florida had them, and I've been craving them and I can not find them. If they have Pepsi products that would be a double bonus!!

It seems every restaurant here has garlic bread instead, which yes they are similar but yet they are different at the same time.

I've done a bit of googling and using urbanspoon & yelp to find places but I have come up short.

Driving really isn't a huge concern. We don't mind road trips, especially since currently we (hubby and I) are staying w/ his mom for a few months to save up money so we can get our own place. So, if the place is an hour away, that is fine, that way we can get some quality time alone!

Attached is a picture I took at one of my favorite local places in FL that had seriously the best garlic knots I ever had.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

I don't think that garlic knots is a traditional Italian bread. Garlic bread is which is why restaurants here serve it. Jay

I used to frequent Hot Tomato's in Hartford - the garlic bread there was heavenly. Of course, it's also probably not something you want to eat if you have high cholesterol or similar.

I think there is an Illiano's in Middletown, if I'm not mistaken?

Bruno's in New Fairfield. Sal'z in Bethel. Also any of the Planet Pizzas - multiple locations (Greenwich, Stamford, Westport, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Shelton, Darien, Danbury & Fairfield).

Couple places in Wallingford have them. Fragomeni's and Primo's are the two I can think of off the top of my head.

Plenty of restaurants in the Danbury area serve garlic knots. In Danbury, I recommend Tuscaneros and SoHo

The grease and everything else probably isn't though.
