We have a couple of Massachusetts residents in our office. Since Mass. is right next to CT, it shouldn't be a problem. It just depends on from where to where and how long of a commute you can tolerate. Jay

Personally, its a longer commute then i would like. It would take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to make that commute. Not to mention with rush hour traffic or when accidents occur it could take even longer.

I wouldn't make the drive, but it's up to you.

Acton to Storrs? That would be an hour and a half without traffic. During rush hour it could be 2 hours and longer if there is an accident or inclement weather. I would not recommmend it but there are people who do that long of a commute regualrly. Jay

Yes!

I don't want to sell my house in Acton and move to CT as I will just spend 2 years in CT. Well,...I'll probably rent a room in Storrs then.

You would be reverse commuting for the most part so I don't think traffic would be that bad. 1.5 hours is probably about right. I can make it from Willimantic to Fenway in a little under 1.5 hours.

There are plenty of people in the Springfield area who commute into Hartford. Not enough for the 2 MSA's to be combined however.
